Instrument Rentals at The Minor Chord

A good musical instrument can be a major investment that a beginning student may not be ready or able to make. While there are several companies that rent string and wind instruments, there are few sources for rental instruments from the guitar family. To help these students get started learning their chosen instrument, The Minor Chord rents quality acoustic guitars, banjos, mandolins, electric guitars, electric basses, and amplifiers at affordable rates.

Rentals are for a period of three months. The rental fee includes the basic rental, sales tax, and a damage waiver. The damage waiver covers all repairs, loss and theft as long the damage was not intentional. Normal supplies such as strings are not included in the damage waiver.

The Minor Chord is open seven days a week for your convenience should your rented instrument need attention.

Rent-to-Own Credit

When you rent an instrument from The Minor Chord you are building credit towards the purchase of your next instrument. Your base rental fees (excluding taxes and damage waivers) accumulate a rent-to-own credit that you can use towards either the purchase of your rental instrument or the purchase of any other in-stock instrument in our store. The rent-to-own credit stops accumulating when it reaches the value of your rental instrument, and you must claim your rent-to-own credit within seven days of completing your rental.
