Instrument Rentals

The Minor Chord has been serving Acton and the surrounding communities with rental instruments for the past 18 years. We offer a convenient local alternative for renting school band and orchestra instruments. Our band and orchestra instruments are guaranteed to meet the requirements of local school music departments. In most cases, the instrument you rent is brand new or in near new condition. We provide service too, so if your child's instrument needs service on an instrument you rent from us, it can be performed quickly and close to home. For all instruments we rent, your rental fees will apply toward purchase, should you choose to purchase it later.

Band Instruments

Band instruments that we rent include the clarinet, flute, alto and tenor sax, trumpet, trombone, piccolo, oboe, french horn, baritone horn, percussion kit, and snare drum kit. Other instruments may also be available for rental. Please ask!

The Minor Chord has recently aligned with Music & Arts to provide an array of high-quality musical instruments for rent. They have a solid reputation for unsurpassed quality and service.

Orchestra Instruments

 

We offer high quality traditional stringed instruments for rent. Viktoria violins, violas, and cellos feature flamed maple backs and sides, solid spruce tops, ebony fingerboards and pegs. High quality perlon core strings are standard. Rental fees (excluding tax and LDT) apply towards purchase. Premium violins are also available for rental; inquire about rates and availability.

Folk and Rock Instruments

We rent acoustic guitars, mandolins, banjos, electric guitar and amplifier packages. Electric bass and amplifier packages are also available. Rental fees (excluding tax and LDT) apply towards purchase.
