Repairs

The Minor Chord offers expert repairs, from simple setups to complete restoration, for all stringed instruments. We provide warranty service for many of the instruments we sell, including Fender guitars and amplifiers. We also stock some of the more commonly used vacuum tubes (6L6, 6V6, 12AX7, 12AT7, EL34, EL84, 5U4G, 5AR4/GZ34), knobs, cables, and other amplification components.

In addition to being a member of our teaching staff, Earle Pughe is an on-site Fender Certified Instrument Technician, and a Certified Electronics Technician. Earle knows guitars inside and out and he knows how to make them sound and feel good.

Rob Hamilton is a Fender Certified Electronics Technician. Rob has played electric guitar since the late '60s and has pursued a never-ending quest for tone ever since. He specializes in guitar amplifier repair -- servicing and restoring vacuum tube amplifiers made by Fender and others.
