This dreadnaught features a beautiful 3-piece back with cocabolo and koa middle stripe. The sides are cocabolo as well giving the guitar a very loud, warm sound with tons of projection. The top is sitka spruce with a koa rosette. The body, neck, and headstock are all binded with koa, giving the guitar a well matched look to the 3-piece back. David's cocabolo guitars are some of the nicest sounding one's we've heard. This is a true one of a kind guitar from a well-respected maker.
