Fender American Standard Stratocaster HSS
The new Fender American Standard Stratocaster HSS guitar is a top-of-the-line American-made instrument for the player seeking an ash body with modern appointments. This guitar has a modern C-shaped maple neck with a satin polyurethane finish, and is available with a maple or rosewood fingerboard featuring abalone inlays and 22 medium jumbo frets. Other features include a pair of Samarium Cobalt NoiselessTM Strat pickups, and a Diamondback humbucking pickup in the bridge position.

Fender '65 Mustang in Daphne Blue
The Fender '65 Mustang in Daphne Blue This reissue comes in a great vintage color: Daphne Blue with highly period-correct detailing. Features include a poplar body, C-shaped maple neck with 22-fret rosewood fingerboard, four-ply pickguard with classic control plate and pickguard gap, chrome hardware, Fender/Gotoh vintage-style tuning machines with white buttons, floating bridge with "Dynamic" vibrato tailpiece, two Mustang single-coil pickups with on/off slider switch and in/out phase switch for each pickup, F-stamped neck plate and vintage correct headstock and bridge plate logos.

Taylor Custom GS Guitar
The Taylor Custom GS Cocabola has what Taylor calls its "Grand Symphony" shape, cocobola back and sides, sitka spruce top, tortoise shell body and neck binding, and a big sound. This is a Minor Chord custom order.

Webber Dreadnaught Custom Guitar
The Webber Dreadnaught Custom pictured here is a hand-made guitar from David Webber of Vancouver, Canada. It's our custom order for 2007 -- a one-of-a-kind guitar, built to our specifications. Tasmanian Blackwood back and sides, solid sitka spruce top, cocabola body, neck, and headstock binding, abalone dot inlays, herringbone purfling and rosette. A gorgeous instrument made with strikingly beautiful woods.

Webber OM Cutaway Guitar
A hand-made, small bodied guitar from David Webber of Vancouver, Canada. This Webber OM Cutaway is David's take on the traditional "Orchestra Model" guitar. And with its rounded, low-shoulder cutaway, this guitar captures a modern aesthetic but with an elegant appearance that avoids radical design excesses. Mahogany back, sides, and headplate, solid "bearclaw" Engelmann Spruce top, abalone rosette and purfling, beautiful finish, and a sound all its own. The traditional OM shape gives it a full response, making it an excellent choice for almost any style of playing.

Ibanez AF105SM Custom Electric Guitar
The AF105SM Custom features a large full hollow body that’s truly full-hollow. Unlike many so-called “full acoustics” which feature soundblocks in the body, all Ibanez full acoustic guitars are completely full-hollow for the rich, complex tones you can only get from a true, full-hollow guitar.

Ibanez AGB200-TBR Bass Guitar
The Ibanez AGB200-TBR Bass Guitar from the Artcore series features an 30" scale for easy fingering. The semi-hollow body construction increases sustain and combines with the double humbuckers for an unmistakable "roots rock" sound. Super-stable Gibraltar III bridge. Maple top, back and sides.
Ibanez SRX700 Electric Bass Guitar
The Ibanez SRX700 4-string bass features a light ash body with a maple/walnut SRX4 neck-thru neck. Medium frets and pearl dot inlay dress the rosewood fingerboard. For electronics, the SRX700 uses an Ibanez PFR-AL4N neck pickup, Ibanez PFR-AL4B bridge pickup, and an on-board EQB-IIDX 2-band EQ.

The new Fender American Deluxe Telecaster guitar is a top-of-the-line American-made instrument for the player seeking an alder body with more modern appointments. This guitar has a modern C-shaped maple neck with a satin polyurethane finish, and is available with a maple or rosewood fingerboard featuring abalone inlays and 22 medium jumbo frets. Other features include a pair of Samarium Cobalt NoiselessTM Tele pickups, a modern chrome stainless steel Tele bridge with chrome-plated solid brass saddles, and the S-1TM switching system.

Yamaha FS-720S Acoustic - New Colors
Yamaha has now released several new colors for the smaller sized FS-720S. This is by far the Minor Chord's best selling guitar with it's great sound and great price. It is now available in tobacco sunburst, black, red sunburst, blue sunburst, as well as the classic natural. This guitar is perfect for someone who needs a slightly smaller body size but wants to keep that big sound.
School Band and Orchestra Rentals
The Minor Chord has been serving Acton and the surrounding communities with rental instruments for the past 18 years. We offer a convenient local alternative for renting school band and orchestra instruments. Our band and orchestra instruments are guaranteed to meet the requirements of local school music departments. In most cases, the instrument you rent is brand new or in near new condition. We provide service too, so if your child's instrument needs service on an instrument you rent from us, it can be performed quickly and close to home. For all instruments we rent, your rental fees will apply toward purchase, should you choose to purchase it later.
